Corruption and Swiss Bank Money : Indian Money in Swiss Bank Accounts?

Any guess about the volume of Indian Money in Swiss Bank Accounts?

Infact no one got a perfect answer for this.

The below is an excerpt from an email, which claims to contain the words of a Swiss Bank Director, which tells us the depth of India’s wealth  or  tax payer’s money looted and deposited in foreign banks.

If the claims are right,the amount is  really really huge.

• “280 Lacs crore” of Indian money is deposited in Swiss banks which can be used for ‘taxless’ budget for 30 yrs. [ PS: This amount is 20 times bigger than India’s National Budget for an year, and hence the accuracy is doubted.]
• Can give 60 ,00,00,000 jobs to all Indians.
• From any village to Delhi 4 lane roads.
• Forever free power supply to more than 500 social projects.
• Every citizen can get monthly Rs. 2000/- for 60 yrs.
• No need of World Bank & IMF loan.

The recent 2G Scam Spectrum Corruption Case boasts of 2 Lakh crore and Supreme Court expressed surprise in the number of zeros involved in this digit.But the Swiss -Indian Money is supposed to be around 280 Lakh Crores, though the actual claims are much less.

But it is beyond a matter of question that the corruption levels in India is really high and it is certainly the main factor which pulls back India’s double digit growth.Many of the excellent policies or funds planned by top-level leaders are not reaching the intended population due to corruption at political or bureaucratic levels.
