GSAT 10 Satellite Special Features

  1. India’s heaviest Communication Satellite(3400 Kg).
  2. ISRO’s 101st space mission.
  3. Ariane-5 launch vehicle was used.(French Guyana).
  4. Carries 30 transponders as well as the GAGAN (GPS and GEO augmented navigation) system.
  5. It will provide Ku and C band relay capacity when it joins the INSAT (Indian National Satellite) system of geostationary spacecraft representing one of the largest domestic communications satellite networks in the Asia – Pacific region.
